The Liangma River originates from a tributary in the northeast of the moat, and passes through the Second and Third Embassy Zone. It connects several business districts including Sanlitun, Yansha, and SOLANA, and traverses Chaoyang Park, the largest urban park within the Fourth Ring Road. The River winds its way and forms a thin 10km arc before finally joining the Ba River.
The charm of the river lies in that it carries ecological, cultural, friendly, diverse, and imaginative elements. It belongs to everyone and accommodates different lifestyles without any sense of incompatibility. This is a colorful open park, with reeds and calamus standing by the river, weeping willows a few meters away, and the Chinese scholar tree, acer truncatum, and pines in different postures. Here, all kinds of flowers and trees grow freely, like a unified forest.
