Over 40% of the First Stores in Beijing Were Opened in Chaoyang District in the First Three Quarters of This Year
In the first three quarters of 2023, Chaoyang District, which has always taken the lead in the number of first stores, added 304 brand-new first stores, ranking first among all districts in Beijing and the number of first stores accounts for over 40% of Beijing's total.
As the main district for Beijing in building an international consumption center city, Chaoyang District has developed remarkably in the first-store economy. Among the newly added first stores this year, relying on their fashionable, interesting, and diverse characteristics, Beijing CBD and Sanlitun business circle have continued to maintain strong growth momentum.
In May this year, Laderach, Switzerland's high-end handcrafted chocolate brand with a history of over 60 years, was opened in CBD, which became the first store in Beijing.
Taikoo Li Sanlitun is synonymous with fashion and is a gathering place for fashionable and avant-garde brands. In the southern area of Taikoo Li Sanlitun, To Summer, the new Chinese style high-end aromatherapy brand has created an oriental aesthetic space.
As a gathering place for trendsetters, THE BOX in Chaowai Street Block attracts their first stores of numerous fashionable brands, such as Bad Market, MOF Girl Mall, and ENG Store. From pixelated gamified fonts and affordable limited-edition products to shopping spaces where you can skate or ride a bike to explore, these first stores offer consumers a novel and interesting shopping experience.
The first stores with different characteristics in Chaoyang District have become the "upstarting online celebrities" on various platforms. Among the 304 first stores opened in Chaoyang District in the first three quarters, there was one global first store, two first stores in Asia, 43 first stores in Chinese mainland, and 258 first stores in Beijing.
