On September 27, a delegation from the Senate of Uzbekistan's Oliy Majlis visited the Beijing Chaoyang District Grassroots Legislative Contact Point of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (Nanmofang Township Legislative Contact Station) by invitation.

At the symposium, Bao Yuefeng, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Chaoyang District People's Congress, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

"This introduction and visit enhance our understanding of the specific practice of the whole-process people's democracy in China. This model is unique to China, which is the main reason for our visit—to study and learn the mechanism of Chinese-style people's democracy. We also extend an invitation for you to visit Uzbekistan to learn about our working mechanism," said Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
