Post-Games Operation and Development
The Beijing Olympic Park was born and honored for the Olympic Games. Since the Olympic Summer Games Beijing 2008, it has been exploring ways of post-Games operation and development. As a national sports industry demonstration base, a national demonstration area for well-known Olympic cultural tourism brand development, and a national 5A-level scenic area, it has received more than 500 million visits from home and abroad and held over 10,000 large events by the end of 2021. Among them were the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, and the China International Fair for Trade in Services. The international-level events held here account for 13%.
