Beijing Hosts Online "Two Zones" Promotion Session Targeting UK and US Investors

An online conference focusing on promotion of "Two Zones" was recently held to mainly target investors from the UK and the US. As the fifth session of the overseas online promotion activities organized in , the UK/US session promoted policies for a wide range of fields and shared a large number of items, the latest data, and various other information, which was well received by the participating representatives. The online promotion activity was held by Beijing Investment Promotion Service Centre and supported by the China-Britain Business Council.

The municipal office for the "Two Zones" specially introduced the general information, policies and measures, and new opportunities for opening-up and development brought about by the construction of the "Two Zones". The districts of Chaoyang, Tongzhou and Fengtai introduced their location advantages, innovation policies, and key parks such as CBD, Jinzhan International Cooperation Service Zone, Canal Business District, and Lize Financial Business District. A number of British and American companies such as Prudential Group, Merrill Lynch International, Atkins, Ascential Group, and Praxity, as well as representatives of chambers of commerce and associations such as the China-Britain Business Council, AmCham China, and the British East Asia Council, attended the meeting online. Participants raised questions about their concerns with these policies, and were efficiently responded by the attending officials online.

The event built an information communication platform for British and American companies, raised the enthusiasm of overseas enterprises to participate in the development of the "Two Zones", expanded its international influence, and provided enterprises with more innovation and development-based opportunities in Beijing.
