On December 7, sponsored by Beijing Foreign Affairs Office and organized by Guangming Online, the third theme shooting activity of “Beijing · A Global City” Short Video Contest was held at the International Style Waterfront of the Liangma River in Chaoyang District. Chinese and international teachers and students from Beijing Technology and Business University and Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication and other colleges and universities participated in the event.

The Liangma River connects several international communities and business districts in Beijing. The beautiful light and shadow show, the riverbank landscape with international elements, the stores and restaurants with unique features along the river and the foreign language signs everywhere give the whole place an international look. The on-site shooting acitivity was carried out with the theme of “International Service Environment”, which directly presents the openness, inclusiveness, fashion and livability of Beijing as an international metropolis for friends from home and abroad in a vivid way.

In the resplendent night with river, all the participating Chinese and foreign teachers and students were in high spirits, and from time to time, they exclaimed “It’s so beautiful!”, “Wonderful!”. During their cruise tour, they took pictures and recorded videos of the beautiful landscape along the riverbank with their smartphones or photography equipment, completely immersed in the fascinating environment of the International Style Waterfront of the Liangma River, where culture meets fashion, “scented tea” combines with “aromatic coffee”, appreciating the unique charm of Beijing, an energetic and diverse city which perfectly integrates tradition into modernity. As the night breeze passed by, the faces of the students and teachers turned slightly red. They remained excited until the end of the event.
