Since Beijing began to build the “Two Zones”,

it has attracted an increasing number of high-quality enterprises to settle in Beijing CBD.

In the first two months of 2022,

more than 1,500 companies were newly registered in the Beijing CBD functional area,

continuously infusing new blood for CBD’s development.

Among the new settlers,

there are large innovative technology

and new energy companies.

 

Beijing CBD is actively advancing the construction of the “Two Zones”,

contributing to Beijing’s open and innovative pattern of development,

and vigorously promoting high-quality industrial development.

With the accelerated resumption of production by enterprises and active market demands,

Beijing CBD achieved a good start in economic growth in the first quarter.

Global investment promotion

High-quality enterprises settled in Beijing CBD

In 2021, Astellas Pharma Inc. established Astellas Investment in Beijing CBD, as its Greater China regional headquarters in the area. Over the past year, it achieved a year-on-year increase of 14.8% in revenue in Greater China, contributing to the high ranking of Astellas in the world market.

In 2022, three outlets of China CITIC Bank Beijing Branch in Beijing CBD were reshaped. In line with the characteristics and policies of the Beijing Free Trade Zone (FTZ), China CITIC Bank Beijing Branch will continue to promote the implementation of the policies for opening up of the financial market, the cross-border capital flow, as well as investment and financing, help companies realize a more convenient cross-border capital flow and better online financial services, and provide companies with comprehensive, characteristic, innovative, and higher-level integrated financial services and solutions. In early March, China CITIC Bank Beijing FTZ Sub-branch successfully provided an emerging high-tech enterprise with NRA settlement services.
