China Winter Sports Photography Exhibition Makes an Impressive Debut at Beijing Olympic Tower
On June 14, 2022, the China Winter Sports Photography Exhibition with the theme of “Together for a Shared Future” made an impressive debut at Beijing Olympic Tower. It was sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Photographers Association and organized by China Photo Press. It is also the first time that Beijing Olympic Tower undertakes a state-level professional photography exhibition.
This Exhibition is set in three parts. The first section reproduces the meaningful and impressive moments in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympic Games, enabling the audience to recall the passion and inspiration and touch the unique charm of the Dual Olympic City. The second section pools together more than a hundred photographs taken during and after each competition of the Olympics. Those are all the works of creativity, sensibility, and effort from the Beijing Winter Olympics small groups of the China Photographers Association, conveying their deep affection for winter sports. The third section consists of 120 creative works from photographers across the country. Those Winter Olympics and Ice & Snow-themed works formulate several sub-divisions, including the City of Ice & Snow, Dream Pavilion, Winter Sports for All, Charm of Sports, and Together for a Shared Future.
The venue of this Exhibition, Beijing Olympic Tower, is seated on the central axis of Beijing, in the central area of Beijing Olympic Park. As a landmark, the Tower permanently hangs the Olympic rings, echoing the content of this China Winter Sports Photography Exhibition with the theme of “Together for a Shared Future”.
In combination with the characteristics of the venue, the Exhibition makes use of the exhibition walls, photo hotspots, interaction areas, and the immersive show of Fantastic Iced Olympic Rings to merge together the splendid moments on the ice & snow-featured stage, the spirits of the Olympics, and China's stories about winter sports, building a grand visual feast. The Exhibition will last till July 4, 2022.
