As one of the pilots of the first-store economy, Beijing now witnesses first stores flourishing.

Statistics from Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau show that the number of first stores and flagship stores opened in Beijing in the past three years reaches 2,160, showing an explosive growth trend. In Q1 this year, altogether 198 first stores and flagship stores were opened in Beijing, including 31 first stores in Beijing CBD.

With the continuous improvement of policies and the surging number of first stores, the first-store economy is improving the city’s fashion level and influence, and also becoming a powerhouse to fully activate consumption and drive economic growth.
