Recently, a closed green area

between Wangjing Walk and New World Department Store

has been rebuilt into a small scenic park, Fuyuan Park,

where residents can stroll between the store and office buildings.

Let’s take a look.

Fuyuan Park is located at the southwest end of Wangjing Walk,

and surrounded by INBAR’s mansion, Baoneng Center,

Jiamei Fashion Center, and New World Department Store.

It’s a jade-like open-ended park.

among high rises,

and is reachable for peripheral residents and white-collars on foot.

This year, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany, Wangjing Walk has made full use of the resources of German enterprises in the area for its construction. As a wish for enduring friendship between China and Germany, ivies have been planted in Fuyuan Park, and China roses there also include both Chinese China roses and German China roses.
