The CBD

Regional headquarters of 141 multinational corporations cluster in the CBD,

accounting for over 70% of Beijing's total, bringing it to the top of the list.

It also has nearly 400 foreign-funded financial institutions,

accounting for two-thirds of the city's total,

and is home to more than half of Michelin restaurants,

40% of cafes and one-third of the first stores in Beijing.

In recent years,

measures have been taken to improve the traffic condition and the slow traffic system

around Beijing's landmarks — China World Trade Center and China Central Place,

Northern Chaoyang Greenway

With a planned journey of 130.8 kilometers,

the Northern Chaoyang Greenway will connect

26 large, medium, small, and micro-sized parks

as well as 12 subdistricts and 62 communities upon its full completion.

The 9.5-kilometer demonstration section has been opened to the public,

while the 25.5-kilometer section from Wangjing to Chaoyang Railway Station has been completed.
