Resident-friendly Consumption in Chaoyang District 2023 Quarter-hour Quality Life Festival Kicks Off
In 2023, the Quarter-hour Quality Life Festival continues with the theme of "A Quarter-hour Shapes a Better Life", aiming to improve the quality life in convenient Beijing. At this year's festival, content-rich, dynamic, quality, and people friendly activities will be staged to highlight a high-quality and resident-friendly life.

Currently, Chaoyang District has 22,600 resident-friendly stores of 11 types, including greengrocers, convenience stores, and breakfast stores, accounting for 20% of Beijing's total. These stores provide convenient services for almost all residents in the district.
In addition, Chaoyang District stands out in the city with a high number of commercial outlets across various industries and a significant rate of brand chainization. It also boasts the highest number of 11 types of convenient commercial outlets in the city, with a quantity of 656 per 100,000 people, surpassing the city average by over 30%.
Across different industry categories, it secures a spot in the top three in the city for the quantity per 100,000 people of seven types of businesses, which include breakfast stores, beauty salons, household services, laundry facilities, convenient repair shops, flower stores, and coffeehouses. Meanwhile, Chaoyang District is home to six distinctive food areas, such as 21 Block of Hopson One and SOLANA, accounting for 30% of the city's total.
Chaoyang District is committed to achieving full coverage for its convenient life circle by 2025. To fulfill the goal, it will follow the principles of one-time planning, phased construction, and implementation evaluation. Following meticulous compilation, verification, and refinement, the district has planned 170 convenient life circles, accounting for 20% of the city's total, ranking first among all districts in Beijing.
