The Road Opened to Traffic in Chaoyang, with the Function of "4.5 Ring Road"
On May 12,
Phase II of Tongjiu Road in Chaoyang District
(the section from Dexian Road to Santaishan Road) was officially put into operation.
It will become a
transportation route functioning as the "4.5th Ring Road",
which will facilitate the regional transportation.
The "4.5th Ring Road" Opened near Homes
As Tongjiu Road is parallel to the South 4th Ring Road
and is located between the South 4th Ring Road and the South 5th Ring Road,
it is also called the "4.5th Ring Road".
Tongjiu Road starts from No. 11 Road, Dahongmen, Fengtai District in the west
and ends at Chengshousi Road, Chaoyang District in the east,
with a total length of about 5.83 kilometers.
An urban trunk road in the east-west direction will be added for the south Chaoyang
as the Phase II of Tongjiu Road opened, which connects with Liuquan Road and Phase I of Tongjiu Road in the west
and Hongfang Road in the east.
Phase II of Tongjiu Road
(the section from Dexian Road to Santaishan Road) has a total length of 2.77 kilometers.
It incorporates six lanes and its boundary line is 50 meters wide.
With a design speed of 50 km/h,
it also contains green belts and sidewalks.
A new, spacious, and tidy road has been exhibited
with clear and conspicuous pavement markings.
Additionally, Chinese scholartree, cloves, round-shaped arborvitae,
street trees and other plants are carefully arranged along the road.
The road network in the central urban area will be improved further,
which will provide more convenient access to transportation
for citizens around Xiaocun Village and Hongbo Community.
It also lays a foundation for the future operation of other sections of Tongjiu Road.
Let's look forward to it.
