Global Digital Economy Conference 2023 (1)

Themed "Data Driven Development, Intelligence Leading the Future", the Global Digital Economy Conference 2023 will be held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing in early July. The Conference is co-sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Commerce of China, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality.

Based on the fruitful results of the previous two conferences, this Conference will further contribute to comprehensively boosting China's digital economy, building a world-leading system for the development of the digital economy, showcasing the new achievements in building Beijing into a benchmark city for the global digital economy, improving engagement in the international digital economy, and enhancing national strategic support. The Conference will be held at a larger scale and on a higher level, upholding the concept of being open and pragmatic, innovating the model, and promoting internationalization and branding.

Under the "1+6+6+N" framework, the upcoming Conference will feature an opening ceremony, a main forum, six summit forums, six featured events, several (N) themed forums, and a series of themed activities. The aforementioned events aim to accelerate the development of a global digital economic partnership network among cities. The Conference IP image will be used and promoted for the first time, and the "Digital Night" city pulse lighting ceremony will be launched simultaneously at the opening of the Conference. The six summit forums will delve into various topics, such as artificial intelligence (AI), open-source technologies, digital security, Web 3.0, data elements as a production factor, and crossing the Himalayas with a digital bridge. The summit forums will gather both national and international industry leaders, experts, scholars, and institutional heads from various sectors including governments, industries, universities, research institutes, and application fields. Through their collective insights and perspectives, they can explore new rules of international governance and make contributions to promoting the development of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the "Two Zones") in Beijing. By leveraging their expertise and strength, they can also turn the capital into a global digital economy benchmark.
