My name is Michael Lunn, I'm originally from Australia. I've been here for over 17 years in Greater China working with this company. It's a really wonderful memory. In 2020 September, I joined in the Westin Beijing Chaoyang Hotel and working here day by day.

This hotel is quite famous. It has hosted 3 US presidents and also a number of Secretary of states from the US and from other countries like Germany, Northern Europe and also South America. Chaoyang has developed into a real international hub in Beijing. We could start to see in late February and even in early March, some foreigner business coming back. That was very positive. And actually we've been running occupancy at least 80-85%. So these types of high-level delegations are with the support of the Chaoyang District. And we believe more and more of these delegations should be coming soon.

For the last three years. Actually, I can see a step-by-step change in Chaoyang District and also the Liangma River. It's a famous point in Beijing. And it's actually helped our business a lot. And it's not just the environmental protection agency how they've been able to clean up the river, it's how they've developed it into an ecosystem where everyone can enjoy it. They can come here and then with this could be the starting point. We wanted to change the running map. So most of this 3-kilometre, 5-kilometre running map will be on the river. A lot of greenery for our foreign guests. It's a perfect place for them to experience local life in the Liangma River. Every weekend we would come out in the morning and clean up the river. We would clean up as much as we possibly could and I think it's our duty to take care of the community and take care of each other.

And also from a cultural point of view, Chaoyang District has always raised up a lot of great activities whereby we can participate and also support. So I really feel the Chinese Culture in Chaoyang as well. It's really strong.

I've been here for 17 years. I'm not Chinese, but I got married to a Chinese girl. She taught me a lot about China. I love China. I like the culture. I just really like the way in China how we being together. I like the diversity and very positive changes in Chaoyang in terms of lifestyle. So we rarely leave Chaoyang actually on the weekend, we're very happy here and as you can see the draw cards over the summer and the spring through to autumn, you can see the Chaoyang are not stopping. They're continuing to move forward and to make sure that this is the best District in Beijing.
