Liangma River Economic Belt will be upgraded again in 2024

Over the past year, the 18-kilometer waterfront greenway of Liangma River International Waterfront has been fully completed, emerging as a veritable “new symbol” and “new landmark” of Beijing.

In 2024, the highly anticipated Liangma River International Waterfront will be upgraded again. According to the head of the Beijing Chaoyang Culture and Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., the commercial consumption scale along Liangma River International Waterfront will be continuously expanded through various means, such as the introduction of major cultural and tourism projects, optimization and improvement of waterfront business nodes, and high-frequency and branded cultural and recreational activities.

In Phase I Project

The construction of coffee yards, double-desk platforms, and Lucky Street points will be completed, improving and upgrading commercial functional facilities.

In Phase II Project

The construction of key projects such as Sina E-sports Hall, Chaoyang Museum of Urban Planning, Shell Theater, and No.8 Mansion in Chaoyang Park will be accelerated.

In Phase III Project

Planning and research policies for Liuliwan will be developed to boost the all-round upgrading of cultural and commercial values along the Liangma River Economic Belt.
