Kyrgyzstan Parliamentary Delegation Visits Beijing's First "National" Grassroots Legislative Contact Point to Explore the "Code" of Chinese-style People's Democracy
On the morning of June 4, a joint delegation of Kyrgyzstan's parliamentary political parties visited the Grassroots Legislative Contact Point of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (Nanmofang Township Legislative Contact Station in Chaoyang District, Beijing) by invitation.
At the subsequent symposium, Chen Hongzhi, Director of the Standing Committee of the Chaoyang District People's Congress, provided a detailed introduction to the development of the people's congress system, the practice of whole-process people's democracy, and the duties of deputies to the people's congresses at various levels.
Mr. Chen Hongzhi highlighted that it only took Chaoyang District about 40 years to transform from a traditional agricultural area into an industrial area, and become the most international modern urban area in Beijing.
Ulan Primov remarked that the establishment of grassroots legislative contact points is both excellent and exemplary. He emphasized that the cooperation and exchange on this occasion are highly beneficial to both parties. He also expressed his desire to learn from China's experience.
