On the afternoon of May 11, a delegation from the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan visited the Grassroots Legislative Contact Point of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (Nanmofang Township Legislative Contact Station in Chaoyang District, Beijing) by invitation.

In July 2021, the Standing Committee of the Chaoyang District People's Congress was designated as a grassroots legislative contact point by the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

At the subsequent symposium, Chen Hongzhi, Director of the Standing Committee of the Chaoyang District People's Congress, provided a detailed introduction to the development of the people's congress system, the practice of whole-process people's democracy, and the duties of deputies to the people's congresses at various levels.

Aktam Akhmadovich Khaitov, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan's Oliy Majlis and Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, stated that the homes of deputies to people's congresses and grassroots legislative contact points have built a communication bridge between the legislature and the grassroots communities. He also expressed their desire to learn from China's experience.
