Red Alert for Rainstorm Issued Today

It is forecast that there will be an extremely heavy rainstorm in Beijing

from 20:00 on July 28 to 7:00 on July 29.

Precautions are advised for your own safety.

1. Avoid going out unless it is necessary; in case of an emergency, call 110 or 119 for assistance.

2. Except for providing essential services for the smooth running of the city, employees can work at home.

3. Schools should suspend in-person and outdoor teaching activities, and training institutions should cancel in-person sessions.

4. Avoid visiting mountainous or waterside destinations, scenic spots, parks, forests, or rural homestays.

5. Residents in bungalows, older or dilapidated houses, low-lying areas, or basement rooms should closely monitor the risk of flooding and evacuate if necessary.

6. Close all underground commercial venues, and halt work at construction sites.

7. Anyone at risk from natural disasters should follow evacuation instructions.
