    With a gross floor area of 470,000 square meters, Alibaba’s Beijing headquarters is currently in the decoration stage and is expected to be completed and put into use in December 2023. 19,000 Alibaba employees will work here. After the completion of the project, Alibaba will play its leading role in the development of technology and digital economy, contributing to building Chaoyang District into a digital economy demonstration zone.     Upcoming New Landscapes along the Demonstration Section of the Chaoyang Greenway

    In 2022, Chaoyang District continues its efforts in greenway construction. The project of about a 9.5km long demonstration section constructed in the early stage is currently in the final stage. After the completion, the greenway will be a great place for walking, running, cycling, and hiking. Starting from the intersection of Anli Road and Qinghe in the north, the demonstration section of the Chaoyang Greenway passes through public parks and forests including Olympic Forest Park, Yangshan Park, Beixiaohe Park, and Wanghe Park, and ends at the North Park of Wanghe Park in the south. The whole greenway provides a green environment for cycling and walking. Small sports grounds with sports fitness equipment are also set up along the greenway to meet the requirements of residents for stretching and warm-up exercises.     Post Office or Café? Beijing Opens First Post Coffee at Wangjing Walk

    On July 24, Beijing’s first Post Coffee was opened at Wangjing Walk. The creative “post office plus coffee” mode adds attraction to Wangjing Walk.   At Post Coffee, staffs in postal green uniforms are busy serving customers. It offers Classic Americano, Original Latte, Cappuccino, and many other types, all made with high-quality Yunnan coffee beans. The café also serves refreshing drinks such as Spritzy Americano and Lychee Jasmine and yummy desserts like Black Forest Cake and Mousse cake.
