With a gross floor area of 470,000 square meters, Alibaba’s Beijing headquarters is currently in the decoration stage and is expected to be completed and put into use in December 2023. 19,000 Alibaba employees will work here. In 2022, Chaoyang District continues its efforts in greenway construction. The project of about a 9.5km long demonstration section constructed in the early stage is currently in the final stage. After the completion, the greenway will be a great place for walking, running, cycling, and hiking. Starting from the intersection of Anli Road and Qinghe in the north, the demonstration section of the Chaoyang Greenway passes through public parks and forests including Olympic Forest Park, Yangshan Park, Beixiaohe Park, and Wanghe Park, and ends at the North Park of Wanghe Park in the south. The whole greenway provides a green environment for cycling and walking. Small sports grounds with sports fitness equipment are also set up along the greenway to meet the requirements of residents for stretching and warm-up exercises.
